Choose a spokesperson to present your creation to the entire group.
Option 2: Pass the Envelope
Form a team by matching puzzle pieces to complete a picture.
On a piece of paper, write an individual response to the prompt given by your facilitator and place the response in the envelope provided.
When indicated by your facilitator, pass the envelope one team member to the right.
Repeat the process until you have added a response to each team member's envelope.
Prompt 1: What are the characteristics of your quadrant of the eMINTS Instructional Model (eIM)?
Prompt 2: What might a classroom look like that values this quadrant of the eIM?
Prompt 3: What might a classroom sound like that values this quadrant of the eIM?
Prompt 4: What might be the role of the teacher in a classroom that values this quadrant?
Pass the envelopes back to the original owner. Find new partners by joining together with those who have the same envelope label (i.e., same eIM quadrant).
In your new team, open the envelopes and sort the information.
Identify common themes and write them on the envelope.

Puzzle Piece Grouping: Utilizing a puzzle cut into pieces is a way to group students either randomly or purposefully. The puzzle can be just about anything such as an image, quote, or equation. Additional Grouping Strategies can be found here.
